Kent Bragg
Sergeant Bragg has served with the
Rochester Police Department since September of 1997. After graduating
from Taylorville High School, he attended MacMurray College where he
earned a Bachelor's Degree in Law Enforcement Administration. While
Attending MacMurray, he served as a co-captain for the football team.
After college, Kent accepted a position with the Morgan County Sheriff's
Department where he served for six years as a Correctional and Training
Officer. Prior to accepting a position with this department, Kent served
as a Juvenile Probation Officer for Morgan County. Sergeant Bragg serves
as a First Line Supervisor and the Second in Command. Kent was promoted
to Corporal in October of 2001, then to Sergeant in June of 2003. He is
a graduate of the 227th Session of the F.B.I. National Academy.
